Low Carb Program receives CE mark and QISMET approval

DDM's award-winning Low Carb Program has received a CE Mark, meaning it is registered with the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), regulated as a Class I Medical Device.

CE Mark approval is indicative that the Low Carb Program conforms to European Union laws as a registered medical device meeting all of the MHRA’s health and safety regulations.

In addition, the Low Carb Program has been accredited by the Quality Institute for Self Management Education and Training (QISMET) organisation. This means that the Low Carb Program can now be offered to patients within the NHS.

The announcement was welcomed by the diabetes patient and healthcare professional communities.
