We’re excited to announce the launch of a new partnership with the London Borough of Bromley to deliver a Tier 2 weight management service for children and young people living with excess weight or obesity.
Using our award-winning Gro Health platform, this new service provides both in-person and digital support for young people up to the age of 18, empowering them to build healthier habits and improve long-term wellbeing.
What the programme includes:
- ✅ A 12-week schools-based initiative
- ✅ A targeted, community-based programme for eligible families
- ✅ Tailored, age-appropriate support
- ✅ Options for self-referral or GP referral
The service is designed with the whole family in mind, offering interactive workshops, physical activity sessions, and wellbeing support that makes healthy living accessible, engaging, and sustainable.
“This tailored and specialist service will help children and families reach a healthy weight, with support designed to help both in the short-term and longer-term,” said Dr Nada Lemic, Director of Public Health at Bromley Council. “Parents of eligible children are encouraged to get in touch to help our children and young people learn good habits that will last a lifetime.”
Maintaining a healthy weight is a key factor in preventing long-term illness and improving quality of life. Through this new programme, Gro Health is proud to help children and families in Bromley create positive, lasting lifestyle changes.
