Registrations for the RightOn Survey 2025 are now closed

Thank you for your interest in the Right On Survey 2025. Unfortunately the survey is now closed.

Over 14,000 children and young people across Cornwall have taken part and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views and opinions with us.

We will publish the results later in the Summer. Findings will be shared across Cornwall Council, partner organisations and schools and colleges to help them provide the best support and services for young people. We will also share the results on the Cornwall Council website and with children and young people.

Please visit Cornwall Council’s Children’s Rights pages to find out more about our work to support children’s rights in Cornwall.

What is the Right On Survey?

The Right On Survey is designed to support children and young people across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly in having their voices heard on topics such as health and wellbeing, and their lived experience.

The Right On Survey gives education settings, Cornwall Council and partner organisations valuable data and insight into the lives of our children and young people. This in turn leads to developments in service delivery and strategy across all sectors where children and young people are supported.

Who can take part?

The survey is designed for all children and young people aged 8 and over (Year 4 and above) across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The survey is completely free to offer to children and young people, and will be available to complete digitally.

We are keen to hear from children of all ages and it is important that we hear from a range of young people, so we would encourage you to register if you are a:

  • Primary School
  • Secondary School
  • Multi-Academy Trust
  • FE or Sixth Form College
  • Special School
  • Alternative Provision Academy
  • Independent School
  • Home Educator Group
  • Organisation supporting children and young people not attending school

What happens after I register?

Once we have received your registration, we will provide everything you need to support the children and young people attending your education setting or alternative provision in completing the survey in spring 2025.

A member of our team will reach out to your survey co-ordinator contact with further information and support.
